  1. I can certainly attest to the skill and artistry of Bruce Bundock. He has documented the Hudson Valley in a way that few artists have dared…he depicts it as not only “pretty,” but as an area impacted by human intervention, for better or worse. His images of the Kirkland are breathtaking.

  2. This drawing as well as the drawings of the Rhinecliff Hotel were part of a visual documentation on two historic buildings undergoing renovation. They were meant to inform, and also reveal that there is much subject matter in the Hudson Valley to represent either graphically or in paint that perhaps gets marginalized by the public in general, or runs counter to preconceived ideas about art.
